All Saints Church
Fordham is a growing church and needed more space. This was provided with a new west gallery. This has a Doric front and is similar to an earlier gallery built at St Helen’s Bishopsgate in 1993 and a Georgian gallery in the neighbouring parish of West Bergholt.
The gallery extends across the nave and aisles at the west end and is approached by two staircases which have Biblical texts painted by Quinlan Terry. There is a new stone floor, new heating, lighting and audio-visual system.
