The Oratory
This is the first religious building at Poundbury. It is a modest chapel of yellow stock brick. It is defined by four stone Corinthian pilasters which have feathers rather than the traditional acanthus leaves. There is a modillion cornice with the Prince of Wales feathers in the pediment and a Gibbsian rusticated doorway.
